Yes devoted readers/viewers a new look. The old stuff was migrated across on the weekend – I just wanted something a bit easier to maintain and less cumbersome than the old site.

The banner is "temporary", while I like "Charlie" the squid it might be better suited to being a front page. I think it's a bit too free form and dominates the eye rather than acting as a lead in. I'll have to put my thinking cap on.

Any thoughts?......and yes I will be on a break shortly and can get stuck in and do some more drawing. I have a few ideas on subject matter already.

Holiday - about time! You’ll know what the banner will be when you’ve done it smile Love the change ...

Good thing that I am a great computer detective! I lost you there for a while.

I think that Charlie makes a great banner for your blog. He is so representative of your work and we have followed his creation so closely.  cool smile

Thanks guys (using the generic form of the word)...the banner is growing on me, ‘though I still think it is too free form - it works when there are text entries but is less (or is that too) effective when an entry follows that includes a picture.

You will have to post a picture for me to generically decide ...

Oh I really like this – and I know what you mean about a banner clashing with posts that have pictures but hey who cares. I suppose you could just enlarge that lovely bit of type and have that as your banner.
