It seems strange but today I rediscovered my appetite for drawing. It's not that I haven't been thinking about the physical act of drawing, just haven't got around to actually doing it - obviously those nike ads don't work on me. At least when I've been thinking about drawing I've been able lay out several drawings in mind.

So despite having a headache for most of the day, and with some trepidation, I cleaned off the crap that was on my drawing table and took the plunge. Metaphorically the water was a little bit cold to begin with but quickly warmed up. Four hours later and we have a quarter of a drawing dusted off - even managed to complete a few fiddly bits, which I thought might be beyond me today. And what is the subject matter.........well if it looks like machine, whirs like a machine, and minces like a machine, then it's got to be a machine (of sorts, I think).
