I have to admit that I'm SO much enjoying participating in Illustration Friday that I'm finding myself making the time to participate. Can I keep up the pace?
While I have been mumbling under my breath about the difficulty of the past two topics, I will admit that I'm loving the challenge. Anyway here's my take on this week's theme of adoption - some weird street urchin thing going on, perhaps?
Participating in IF has also forced me to draw (much) smaller - well you can't complete an A1 or A2 size drawing each week! So drawing small is currently working for me, it's also making me use all those long neglected small-sized sketch books stockpiled in a far flung corner of the study (studio?). <<Older Main Newer>>

Very cool. Surreal and almost creepy.
Nice one.

Interesting take on the theme. Kind of spooky/creepy but I like that sort of thing.

I can’t decide if the hands are pushed up through the grating, or sitting on top of the grating… or which is more disturbing

Brisbane’s much as it ever is - just a bit faster and a bit busier. Coro drive is still too small for the job it has to do. There are more buildings going up in the city centre, but its still a very small CBD.
How’s Canberra? I was last there for Conflux early this year.
