Life must be a complete shit if you're a freak...worse still if you're a freaky gargoyle. God damn people staring at you all the time, birds nesting on you and worse still pooping their insides out all over you. On top of that you are permanently anchored to a bloody building, no escape and never really free. Enjoy this self portrait.
All of this reminds me of Dinosaur Junior's little ditty Freak Scene

I’m a freak, but very glad I’m not a (free)ky gargoyle like you Detlef! Although, looking at the talent this (free)ky gargoyle has in regards to drawing - it doesn’t seem as bad as you describe (ícause when I need a friend I’ll need you). Not a mess at all!

This is such an excellent bit of architectural drawing, and I really like your commentary! It makes me think of John Gardiner’s Grendel…always a freak and an outsider…and as a result, pretty pissed off. Well done!
