At long last this drawing is finished. It seems to have taken an eternity. The last few days have been sweltering, so after doing odd jobs this morning, not much left to do but to complete this drawing. All in all I'm quite happy with it. I guess the unanswered question is which bird is the odd man out?

Super job…really like the pop of the crow with the detailing…although really all of the detailing is great…I’m going to guess that since you were drawing from live animals you will be having a feast shortly…your kids are in for a real treat…

Amazing work - It was fascinating to see this work in progress. As to which is the odd one out? Hhmmm. it all depends on what you are thinking doesn’t it? At first glance, the black crow, but tomorrow I may give a different answer.

Your drawing is amazingly detailed and beautiful! I particularly like the crow and pheasant…perhaps that’s because I see a lot of them where I live. I can only imagine what they look like up so close…and you’ve given me that image. Thank you!

Wow! I have to confess, i’m not particularly drawn to highly realistic drawings…but this one makes me think twice! It is lovely! I could look and look at it and see new nuances each time. Thank you for posting it.

WOW!! The level of realism here is possibly achievable by using computer software. These are simply awesome! Totally admiring the fine details, every single fold of the feathers, the eyes which are full of life…. amazing!

Love this. Makes you wonder if you should have been using color all along! Do you sell prints of your drawings somewhere?
