It's not often that I'm able to brag about my punting exploits - so when something pops up I might as well shout about it. Yes, ladies and gentlemen you are talking to the 4th best punter in the world and numero uno in Australia. Courtesy of World Series Racing who hold an annual fantasy punting competition, I gradually progressed across the life of the comp and came home with a barnstorming finish.

I started slowly in position #387 and made my way up the leaders board to be #27 in the world after the penultimate race, and after the big Hong Kong meeting ended up as #4 - alas all I have is bragging rights and no monetary gain, that belongs to the victor who is off to either Royal Ascot or Hong Kong next year.
